The data we hold
We only hold data about you that you’ve given us specifically in our forms to sign up for more information, to sign up for our events, or to tell us more about your needs and preferences for events. This includes names and email addresses, preferences about fictional and logistical things, and, if you’ve chosen to disclose them to us, medical or special access requirements that you believe are relevant for us to be aware of so we can cater for your needs during events.
We also collect anonymous Google Analytics data on our website, which can’t be linked back to individuals. You can opt out of this in your web browser settings, if your browser is up to date.
Why we have this data
We’ve collected the data we need in order to give you a great experience at Marked. Everything you’ve told us contributes to us being able to accommodate your needs and preferences during the event.
If you’ve given us permission to get in touch with you and tell you about Marked events, such as future runs or ticket availability for current runs, we’ll send you occasional emails for those purposes.
Our anonymous analytics data also helps us get an idea of things like where people are visiting our website from and what devices they’re using, so that we can provide the best experience possible for our users.
Who we share this data with
We’ll never share your data with anyone unless it’s directly relevant to your experience at a Marked event, such as passing on your dietary requirements to our caterers. We’ll only ever share the specifics of what they need to know.
Viewing, editing, or deleting your data
If you want to see or change any of the data we have stored about you, or if you want us to remove you from our contacts, email markedlarp@gmail.com and we’ll help you out.
